Officials will set stricter eligibility rules for possession and purchase of arms, Chancellor Christian Stocker said.

Nine students were killed — six girls and three boys aged between 14 and 17, one with Polish citizenship — as well as a teacher, police said. Another 11 people were wounded.

At least nine people were reported killed and a number of others injured in a shooting at a school in the southern Austrian city of Graz on Tuesday, the city's mayor said.
