Siemens AG has agreed to acquire Dotmatics for $5.1 billion as part of a push to provide more artificial intelligence software to life sciences companies.The German company announced the deal for the Insight Partners-backed R&D software maker in a statement Wednesday that confirmed an earlier Bloomberg News report.
