‘Sinners,’ ‘One Battle After Another’ and ‘Hamnet’ among 2026 Producers Guild of America nominees
The Producers Guild of America unveiled its 2026 film and TV nominations, highlighting established Oscar contenders and some surging titles, including "Bugonia" and "Weapons."
Sinners took home awards for Best Original Screenplay (Coogler), Best Young Performer (Miles Canton), Best Casting (Francine Maisler), and Best Score (Ludwig Göransson). As for One Battle After Another, it landed awards for Best Picture, Best Director (Anderson) and Best Adapted Screenplay.
On Jan. 4, the Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced the winners of the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards hosted by Chelsea Handler at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Linda Cook of Our Quad Cities News/ is a longtime member of the group.
