Authorities are now investigating the death of a woman found inside a southwest Oklahoma City home early Thursday as a homicide.

Police say a woman found dead in a southwest Oklahoma City house fire last week had injuries consistent with homicide.

Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire near SW 76th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue shortly after 7 a.m. A woman was found inside the home and later died at the hospital.
