A man barricaded himself in a home in northwest Atlanta on Wednesday, police said.

One person was taken into police custody after gunshots were reported in a South Daytona neighborhood, Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred while ALEA SWAT members and officers with the Metro Area Crime Suppression Unit were working an enforcement detail in the area, according to the agency.

FBI agents have expanded their search for “Today” host’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, to the Catalina Foothills neighborhood.
