The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is not happy with a plan under consideration by the City of Amsterdam to create a new "erotic centre" near its headquarters, the drugs regulator said on Tuesday.

He added that Amsterdam ‘ticked many’ of the EMA’s boxes, with a staff survey showing it was the best case scenario – 81% indicating they would be willing to move with the agency.

The EMA moved its headquarters to Amsterdam's southern Zuidas district in 2019 after the UK left the EU. Zuidas is one of several locations under consideration for the erotic centre.
