The latter-day Messier has arrived in New York only his name is J.T. Miller. That's right. The Mighty Miller will do for the Blueshirts what The Marvelous Messier did for New York Hockey in 1993-94. He will galvanize that dressing room like you wouldn't believe.

The New York Rangers have acquired veteran center J.T. Miller from the Vancouver Canucks in a multiplayer deal.

Miller heads back to New York, where he spent the first six seasons of his career, in exchange for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a 2025 top-13 protected first-round pick. Vancouver prospects Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington also went to the Rangers in the deal. Vancouver’s return was reported by the New York Post.
