Shohei Ohtani officially holds another Los Angeles Dodgers record. He has hit more home runs before the All-Star break than any player in franchise history. Cody Bellinger previously held the record, having gone deep 30 times before the break in his MVP 2019 season. But on Tuesday night, Ohtani launched his 31st homer of the season.

On an 0–2 count Tuesday against Milwaukee Brewers fireballer Jacob Misiorowski, Ohtani turned an 88 mph curveball into a 431-foot home run—his 31st home run of the season. That gave him the Dodgers' all-time record for home runs before the All-Star break.

Shohei Ohtani made LA Dodgers franchise history on Tuesday, breaking Cody Bellinger’s pre-All-Star home run record of 30, which was set in 2019.
