Angel Reese came up big again on Saturday as the Chicago Sky pulled off a massive upset against the league-best Minnesota Lynx. The Sky, who entered the game with a 6-13 record and the fourth-worst record in the league, were considered heavy underdogs against a Lynx side that has been dominating the league throughout the campaign.
The Lynx looked out of sorts and fatigued in their 11th game in 21 days, and players and coach Cheryl Reeve criticized the schedule.
Minnesota visits the Chicago Sky after Napheesa Collier scored 26 points in the Lynx's 87-81 loss to the Chicago Sky.

Ariel Atkins scored 27 points, Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso each had a double-double and the Chicago Sky beat the Minnesota Lynx 87-81 on Saturday. Reese had 19 points and 11 rebounds - her eighth consecutive double-double and 14th of the season - and Cardoso finished with 17 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.
Before their previous game against the Dallas Wings, which ended in an 87-76 victory for the Sky, Angel Reese appeared on the injury report. Reese was listed as questionable due to a leg injury. Reese wound up playing in the game and Chicago coach Tyler Marsh explained that the injury is not of a serious matter.
