The Denver Nuggets have had a great 2024-25 season thus far with a 28-17 record through 45 games but suffered a crushing loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday in a second-round playoffs matchup from last year.

Denver Nuggets guard Russell Westbrook has become one of Michael Malone's trusted starters. Initially expected to play backup point guard behind Jamal Murray, Westbrook has now started 21 of his 42 games for Denver, including 14-straight games.

Russell Westbrook finished the loss with 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 6/10 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range (he also had four turnovers). Many people reacted to his performance on social media.

With Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup, the Nuggets are 18-5 this season. After a couple of tough seasons with the Lakers and Clippers, the veteran guard is providing value on and off the court in Denver.
