NASA and SpaceX on Monday will launch its SPHEREx and PUNCH spacecraft missions tasked to create a three-dimensional map of hundreds of millions of galaxies in order to better understand our known universe.

Two missions, SPHEREx and PUNCH, are expected to launch on a SpaceX rocket late on Monday after a postponed flight on Saturday.

The missions' first several delays were to allow for additional time for checkouts and processing on the Falcon 9 rocket they'll ride to space, according to NASA. Now, the delay is to "allow SpaceX to complete rocket preparations ahead of liftoff," NASA said in an update.
