WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Monday he has begun arrangements for a face-to-face meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss a pathway to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Trump interrupted his talks in Washington with European leaders to call Putin, an EU diplomat told Reuters. Zelenskiy posted that today marked "a demonstration of genuine unity between Europe and the United States.
