Village Council is a five member council, consisting of council members each elected from and representing the village at large. Village Council seats are designated as Seat 1, Seat 2, Seat 3, Seat 4, and Seat 5.

The 45-acre Islamorada Founders Park is the center of the Village’s park system, offering sports programs, recreational programs and facilities, sports coaching and training, and facilities for aquatics, golf, soccer, baseball, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, swimming, and basketball.
