May 4, 2021 · Mortal Kombat is a 2d fighter, while Tekken is probably the most well known 3D fighter. What this amounts too is there is a whole ‘nother dimension of movement in Tekken. Tekken characters also have massive movelists compared to mortal kombat characters (which are arguably still larger movesets than smash bros, for the sake of comparison.)

Nov 3, 2022 · I'm a complete Mortal Kombat noob and I'm fairly good at Tekken, so my opinion may be irrelevant, but MK feels very slow and stiff, even Tekken 3 felt less restrictive than MK 10. Just because of that I could never get into it so my vote goes easily to Tekken 7, now with all the DLC and Lei back, it's the best Tekken IMO.
