Sep 9, 2007 · I had a Churchill probably very similar to the pic thunderw21 ahs posted above.. I ultimately sold it . It was fine hat with soft thick felt but in the end it was too thick. I wear a hat most everywhere most all of the time and this one you just couldn't wear it in a store or places as such. It was too warm.

Feb 23, 2006 · If I remember right, the Churchill line was bought out by Resistol in the 1940s or 50s. Resistol still produced hats under that name for quite some time and I think Hatco still does. Sherlock Holmes 2009 Fedora - The Fedora Lounge
Dec 14, 2009 · The Brett series was, of course, much truer to the age in generally having Holmes wear a homburg or top hat, but a fairly wide-brimmed fedora with a center-creased crown isn't bad. The hat that's on Jude Law's head is interesting. I think that that it is what was known as a Cambridge Bowler; Winston Churchill called his a, "Bowker."

Sep 9, 2007 · Here is a Churchill "Town and Country" apparently made exclusively for the Chicago upperclass men's store Capper & Capper. Came in it's origional box. Very nice thin soft mid-grey felt.
