Dec 12, 2023 · There is no desktop folder under my username shown in Windows Explorer in either the mini or main computers, only in OneDrive is there a desktop folder. If I look at the desktop folder in OneDrive from the mini, it shows globes. If I look at the desktop folder in OneDrive from my main computer, it shows the regular icon pictures.

Aug 4, 2021 · On each PC turn on the OneDrive PC Folder Backup for the Desktop folder: Go to the OneDrive cloud icon on the taskbar > Settings > Backup tab > Manage backup. Select the Desktop folder and start the backup. This will sync all the desktops to OneDrive and merge all desktop files. See the video here:

Whatever I put on or take something off of the desktop, it affects both computers. Same with windows explorer...when I signed in on the refurbished desktop...all the files and folders from the laptop carried over.
