Fisher Cat in Madison Connecticut. A daytime video of the elusive Connecticut predator!

This rare sighting of a Fisher Cat at Rocky Woods in Medfield comes to us from Brooke @brinckyfincke of our Trustees Hikers Facebook group. Fisher cats are common in Massachusetts; they’re rarely seen by people because of their secretive and generally solitary habits. Fishers are the largest member of the weasel family. Although they look adorable and fluffy, Fisher Cats can be aggressive. They are omnivorous and their primary foods include small rodents, squirrels, rabbits, birds, eggs, fruit,
