This scar is over 2 years old and was left after abdominoplasty surgery. When this client first came to me, the scar was tight, raised, very red and uncomfortable. It was pulling the skin, restricting movement and affecting everyday life. After almost one year of combined scar therapy, the scar is now flatter, softer and lighter in colour. Most importantly, the skin has regained elasticity, the pulling sensation has reduced, and the client can move freely again – including activities like yoga.
