How I assemble 2 tiered cake Make sure your cake is covered with crumb coat Cut the cake evenly like 8” round x 1” height per layer, if the height is even it will be easy to fill and coat with frosting Insert plastic booba straws or wooden dowells I usually use 4-6 pcs ( if the top tier cake is 6” cake) and 6-8 pcs if the top tier is 8” cake) Place cake board on the bottom of top tier cake and make a hole for the center dowel.
