UPS Airlines has retired their whole MD-11 fleet following the devestating accident of N259UP in November 2025. The MD-11 was so unique with her 3 engines. There were not many tri-jets left in use… She is such a special aircraft to me as she was the first jet I ever got to jumpseat on. I also assisted with many captains’ retirement flights when they finished their airline careers on the MD-11. It was always so special to see firsthand. #pilot #aviation #md11 #ups #mcdonelldouglas
