Negatives Containing Rare Photos of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Discovered

These photographs show the streets of Warsaw, and the ruins and flames over the Warsaw Ghetto. They were taken in April-May of 1943 during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, as the Nazis began burning the ghetto block by block. The photographs by Rudolf Damec, a Polish man living in Warsaw, were rediscovered just a few years ago by his granddaughter.
