Rainfall from the remnants of hurricane Ida that swept through Connecticut last night has caused high and fast-rushing water in many small streams and brooks which typically have low flows this time of year. This is a view of Freeman’s Brook and the waterfall at Sessions Woods Wildlife Management area in Burlington this morning — usually a rare scene, even during the spring runoff.
